Classic black and white bathroom makeover

If you ask us, there is no other color combination that is more classic than black and white. It is a popular color palette for good reason, and it is the perfect choice for a bathroom in our opinion.

This is the only bathroom in this cute two-bedroom home. We knew we had our work cut out for us, but we love a good challenge. Prior to demo day, we planned to tear out a closet in one of the bedrooms to extend the bathroom wall by numerous feet to fit in an extended vanity.

We shopped for all our tile at Floor & Décor (our favorite!) where we went with a classic large subway (but vertical, to create more height in this space) and hexagonal porcelain for the floors and niche. We love the look of black grout and encourage everyone to think about it! It won’t show as much dirt like white and it always looks clean. Us moms are here for that. We added open shelving and selected a vanity with built in open shelving, allowing for more storage space.

Give us a good book (Ashley) or a True Crime Podcast (Rhiannon), a bath bomb, and we wouldn’t leave this space.
