Large Shower Reno in Primary Bath

I mean they say go big or go home, right? We know we don’t need the Venti at our favorite Starbucks, but we get it anyway!

So, when the planning began for this epic master bath, we didn’t NEED to create this big of a shower, but why not?! Talk about a demo, it took two whole days just to tear everything out and spoiler alert, there was a black snake LIVING in the exterior wall! Okay, just no. We ended up tearing down that entire wall and rebuilding it, just for peace of mind. After making sure no more creatures were inhabiting this space, we pushed forward.

There was no doubt we would put a stand alone tub in the area where the old one lived. We love this look, its simple, clean, and modern. The shower is a pentangle with floor to ceiling tile and a custom double French glass door that completes the look. The dark walnut floors add a touch of masculinity and warmth that was needed in this updated lighter space. We love how this one turned out!
